ABOUTChanneling energy in the right direction.
For over 13 years, I've worked across Las Cruces helping children and adults in a variety of counseling settings. My journey began in college, volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters and grew into a career built on connection and trust.
Energized Minds Therapy was founded on a simple belief: everyone has energy, and that energy can be channeled in the right direction. I created this practice as a safe, supportive space for all ages, with a particular emphasis on inclusiveness for ADHD and autism.
Every person and every family is different. I take the time to understand your specific needs and adapt my approach accordingly, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities to find what actually works for you.

Sessions are available Monday through Friday, 9 AM–5 PM, with a scheduled lunch break at 12 PM. After-school sessions are in high demand and reserved for clients who've established consistent attendance. School notes are always available to excuse missed class time. Most treatment plans begin with weekly sessions and transition to biweekly as progress continues. I work closely with families to establish a schedule that works best.

Treatment typically starts with weekly sessions focused on understanding your needs and building trust. From there, we test different strategies to see what's effective. As progress builds, sessions often shift to every other week, working toward greater confidence and eventual discharge. Depending on individual goals, therapy generally lasts 6–9 months or longer, and every step is goal-oriented.

It depends on individual needs. In-office sessions are generally recommended for children and families, since kids benefit most from in-person interaction and play-based therapy. For adults and older teens, tele-health is often available as a flexible option.
